Axelia's Mission book trailer
Who is this Study Program for?
- You are looking for answers as to why there is tragedy and suffering in the world.
- You wonder if there are any other real practical solutions to heartbreak, sorrow and depression.
- You wonder if the supernatural - good or bad - has any impact on what happens in our world.
Here's the issue with so many Christian resources discussing tragedy, suffering and depression.
The first type of author seems disconnected from the average person. They write above the heads of most readers; as if the work is being handed into a professor for grading. You need a dictionary beside you to understand half the terminology.
The other type of author writes from the word of faith background; teaching health, wealth and prosperity now. Nice in theory, but not biblical. If you're suffering, you must have done something wrong and you're best to get it figured out. A gospel that can't be preached everywhere in the world - particularly the third world - is no gospel of Christ.
Not only this, but these authors often write from theory only; they haven't actually suffered, lived through real heartbreak, despair and depression and overcome.
These problems helped motivate us to write Axelia's Mission and create Axelia's Mission Study Program.
So what differentiates Axelia's Mission from other resources touching on the same subjects?
Axelia's Mission is based on real events and biblical doctrine, as written in the scriptures and explained by biblical teachers and scholars. It is an entertaining, educational, easy-to-understand Christian fantasy story tackling the issues of suffering, heartbreak, bitterness and depression.
In today's world, we look for reasons for tragedy and suffering. Meanwhile depression is treated with antidepressant medication management, psychological therapy, lifestyle changes, meditation, social support, challenging negative thoughts and further education. Although these are valuable resolutions to manage depression, in the past, people also sought answers for catastrophes and anguish like we do, but they didn't have access to the same resources that we now have to deal with the same despair and misery associated with depression. So what did they do?
Well, some chose to live with it, some tried to forget it, some threw themselves into something else, some relied on help from their family and friends and some also relied on the lessons from scripture. It's important to understand that many people used a combination of the methods to help them cope with the sorrow, anxiety and despair. Beyond this, Christians need to understand that they have the resource to help them comprehend the reasons for suffering and that same resource can help them confront deep hurt and depression and - perhaps - even overcome it.
With the Axelia's Mission story and study program:
1) We provide a comprehensive, yet entertaining, written and video presentation to provide thorough doctrinal answers to complicated questions on tragedy, depression and spiritual warfare.
2) We present our resources in light of how scripture was written. The Holy Bible was written for all Christians, but it was written to the audience of the day - the Israelite nation in the Old Testament and the local first century churches in the New Testament. Our interpretation of scripture is based on the most reliable texts as presented to those groups. We don't change the interpretation of the passages based on our chosen biases and changes over time in the meaning of words in the English language. In other words, how would an Old Testament Israelite have understood the Old Testament scripture? How would a first century Christian have understood the first century writings of the New Testament?
3) We interpret the scripture in light of its full context. Let's look at Psalm 14:1. It literally says "There is no God." Technically, an atheist could argue that this is a direct quote from that verse and they could build an argument based on this verse and others - that the Bible teaches there is no God. However, by reading the whole verse, the whole chapter, even the whole book of Psalms and, for sure, the whole Bible, we know that the teaching is out of context. We don't choose a belief and cherry pick scriptures to support it. Rather than choosing to believe a specific doctrine promoted by a favourite biblical teacher who chooses to support a particular teaching based on a few passages here or there, we - instead - allow the scripture to speak and then correlate it with other scriptures in order to understand the complete context of the doctrine, as written down by the various authors of each book in the Bible.
4) We believe in the supernatural and we know that the kingdom of darkness has a hand in what happens here and its members directly influence and impact everyone. The material we present will open your eyes to the agenda of that kingdom.
One of the best parts is that our study program costs just about as much as it does to treat your better half and your mother-in-law to one meal at a nice restaurant.

Meet Your Instructors
Greetings from Hélène & Bruce
Bruce & Hélène got married in 1993 and have nine children together.
Bruce was raised in a Christian home but, like most Christians, he lived a life that primarily sought to make a comfortable living and enjoy life - with little maturity in Christian growth. It wasn't until 2005 while listening to Dr. Adrian Rogers on the Love Worth Finding radio program that Bruce decided to seriously make a commitment to mature in his faith. This is when he realized that his primary citizenship had changed because his true home was now in the Kingdom of God.
Hélène grew up in a Catholic home. As a teenager she started to question what she'd been taught and came to the Lord while attending a Bible-believing church. However, like Bruce, she didn't didn't start to experience real growth in her faith until around 2005 - under the teaching of Dr. Adrian Rogers.
As they journeyed through life together with their children, they attended church regularly, participated in church events and leadership, attended Christian conferences and seminars and studied under many renowned Christian pastors and educators including Charles Price, Dr. Adrian Rogers, Dr. Michael S. Heiser, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, Gary Bates, Joe Kirby, Mike Winger, C.S. Lewis and John Bunyan - amongst many others.
Over time they time came to realize an urgency; a great number of people calling themselves Christians are not really Christians - separate from the world. Some are cultural Christians while many others are fooled or deceived into believing that they are true Christians.
The story of Axelia's Mission has been developing in Bruce's mind since elementary school. As he experienced life and studied, the rest of the story came together and was begging to be told. It was Hélène that finally pushed him into organizing his thoughts and putting the story down - complete with the biblical doctrine.
They both felt compelled to offer a complete behind-the-scenes look at the book and read the story; while breaking down all the important ideas, paragraph by paragraph - giving sound detailed explanations for the doctrine. Thus Axelia's Mission Study Program was conceived. For greater appeal, Hélène created illustrations to complement the story and headline giftware.
Together, Bruce & Hélène encourage you to join them both in the book and the study program. They believe that it is crucial to understand the significance of spiritual warfare. When one sees the scriptures as they are intended to be seen, written to the nation of Israel over 3000 years ago and to the early church about 2000 years ago, it helps to make the Bible more exciting, understandable and it makes more sense. No longer will you feel compelled to skip or gloss over large chunks of the Old Testament that Christians often avoid. Your Bible and your faith will come alive.
You will see, like Galadriel narrates in the movie - The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - "And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth."
As well, you will feel like Christian in the book The Pilgrim's Progress, like it's time for you to leave the City of Destruction on your journey to the Celestial City.
